There are problems.... there were problems...they were always there
If stuck on a problem, what are the better options to do? Maybe many. What I do is just start working on it. Even when I don't know what exactly I'm doing, the simple act of working on it will eventually cause the right ideas to show up between my ears. Yups, up in the head.
Don't just sit there. Do something. Act. The answers will follow.
Most of us will commit to action, only after feeling a certain level of motivation. And for that to happen, that is for the motivation to happen, we need that particular dosage of emotional inspiration. Action is not just the effect of motivation; it's also the cause of it.
Your actions create further emotional reactions and inspirations and move on to motivate your future actions. Let the actions precede inspirations, and let this inspiration precede motivation. And let that cycle continue. In that order. The cycle begins with action. Just do something. Actually anything- and then harness the reaction to that action as a way to begin motivating yourself.
I often think about that ancestor of mine who discovered his ability to generate fire by striking two flint stones against each other, and letting that spark burn the dry leaves around. What exactly was his 'To do' list for that day looking like? Today- I shall create Fire.... Seriously? Quite unlikely. He certainly was 'doing' something. And Fire happened. By harnessing that fire, the human race climbed to the top of the food chain that enabled it to make many things edible. With that came freedom and fun.
So why am I writing this in a story that is titled the "Future of Economy"? In this Chapter 1, I just wish to make a small point. When ideas wear their running shoes on, things happen.
I shall be writing a series of chapters here around the topic, a portion of which shall be treating the start-up battle. India is fast becoming the start-up capital of the world. The entrepreneurial spirit of Indians is exhibited wherever they may choose to reside. Our economy has a lot more facets than the one created through start-ups. I shall also be writing on those aspects.
At the end of the day, you must solve problems as an entrepreneur. We together have to re-imagine change.
Inviting you to stay with me on this journey. I shall keep my chapters short. Not more than 2 to 3 minutes to read. The initial few chapters would be free. As I start the ones in which the efforts to write involved extensive research, personal experiences and thus knowledge that adds value to the reader, I may charge a small fee.
